Black History shouldn't just be celebrated in February. Every single day, we need to uplift and celebrate the Black entrepreneurs and creatives making waves in their fields. April Showers is the CEO & Founder of Afro Unicorn, a brand designed to remind women and children of color how unique, divine and magical they truly are. Adrian Octavius Walker often focuses on still photography and sculpture art that captures the nuances of Black Life.@Walmart paired these two incredibly talented individuals together for Adrian to create his unique take on what AfroUnicorn looks like through his camera lens.

Van Cleve Professor of Law in the School of Law, and Professor of Organizational Behavior & Leadership in the Olin Business School, and co-director of the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity. Both artists use portraiture to depict the complexity of Black subjecthood, exploring themes of race, identity, beauty, and gender politics.
